The Role: Principal Solution ArchitectWe have a rare opportunity for a Principal level Solution Architect to join the team.
You are the Salesforce Solution Architect, Principal level - responsible for leading the Salesforce platform implementation and the industry best practices. You have a breadth of knowledge and experience in client delivery, business process best practices and functional design. As the Solution Architect you focus on delivery of complex Salesforce solutions, from discovery to deployment, while collaborating with client stakeholders, functional and technical team members. You are a self-driven individual with a "get it done" attitude and passion to solve complex business and technology problems.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations
- Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
- Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
- Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects

- Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed
- Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
- Manage to client expectations
- Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role
What You'll Bring To Slalom- Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite
- 8+ years of CRM industry experience, the majority specifically with Salesforce
- Expertise in one or multiple Salesforce Clouds including Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data, Financial, etc.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Salesforce functional development and configuration. Specific qualifications:
- Understanding of function system architecture and ability to design scalable, maintainable and organised solutions.
- Understanding of key design patterns, data modelling and best practices.
- Expert understanding and experience of data sharing and visibility considerations.
- Proven ability to design and optimise business processes and map to Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality
- Requirements elicitation, analysis, management and documentation
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce & CRM business processes with the ability to design and optimise business processes to Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality
- Experience and exposure in Einstein and Salesforce AI product capabilities.
- Base understanding of technical areas of Salesforce including Apex, LWC, Triggers and Flows.
- Excellent writing and oral communications skills: demonstrate ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions by effectively communicating complex topics in a business-friendly manner, ensuring clarity and alignment across all stakeholders.
- Up-to-date knowledge and training on latest Salesforce releases, features and developments.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $130,000-$162,000
In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus for a Senior Consultant and a 12% discretionary bonus for a Principal, based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
