Job Description

Senior Principal, Client Delivery

**This role is not eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office up to 5 days a week. **

What You'll Do
  • Drive delivery excellence across client engagements by optimizing project structures, proactively managing delivery risk, coaching delivery teams, and ensuring successful client outcomes while contributing to capability growth and business performance.
  • Lead complex client programs, portfolios, and strategic initiatives across industries, ensuring delivery outcomes align with client objectives, contractual commitments, and measurable business results.
  • Own end-to-end program and project delivery, including scope, planning, governance, resource management, financial performance, risk mitigation, and successful execution.
  • Establish and lead Agile delivery practices across engagements, fostering team accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and predictable delivery outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors, influencing decisions, driving alignment, and navigating complex organizational environments.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams, ensuring effective coordination, dependency management, issue resolution, and delivery excellence.
  • Drive successful engagement execution while maintaining accountability for utilization, revenue attainment, profitability, and client satisfaction targets.
  • Lead project governance activities, including executive steering committees, status reporting, escalation management, and delivery health assessments.
  • Partner with account and sales teams to support business growth through solution shaping, RFP responses, SOW development, estimation, and delivery planning.
  • Apply delivery expertise and industry best practices to design practical solutions that address client challenges while balancing scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and modern delivery practices to improve forecasting, reporting, decision-making, team productivity, and overall delivery effectiveness.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop delivery professionals, fostering career growth, capability development, and a high-performing team culture.
  • Contribute to the growth and health of Slalom's Delivery capability by advancing delivery frameworks, sharing expertise, and cultivating delivery excellence across teams.


What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience leading complex programs, portfolios, and large-scale client engagements within consulting, professional services, or enterprise environments.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise technology, business transformation, and strategic initiatives across multiple industries.
  • Deep expertise in Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, and hybrid delivery models, with the ability to apply frameworks pragmatically to client needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and executive stakeholders, build consensus, and drive decision-making in complex environments.
  • Experience managing engagement financials, including revenue targets, utilization, forecasting, budgeting, margin management, and resource planning.
  • Strong experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs), responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), estimating project scope, and building delivery plans for complex engagements.
  • Track record of leading large, cross-functional teams with accountability for delivery quality, client outcomes, operational performance, and financial results.
  • Strong program governance, risk management, dependency management, and issue resolution capabilities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, talent development, and team growth.
  • Experience managing engagements across a variety of contractual structures and delivery models.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, relationship management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Principal is $137,000 to $168,000, and for Senior Principal is $165,000 to $200,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
