Client Partner, Utilities (Hybrid/In office)

The Client Partner is the nexus of this work. We are hiring an experienced individual to join our senior leadership team.

You'll spend your days managing a group of clients - understanding their environments & industry, developing high trust relationships, developing & implementing strategies that marry Slalom capabilities and client needs, overseeing our delivery work, and set a high bar to create exceptional client and Slalom experiences.

So what will I do?
Customer Satisfaction: Client Service leaders are responsible for ensuring our clients' expectations are met and exceeded and our overall client satisfaction is high. Client Service leaders work with our practice leaders and partners to develop and deliver the right solutions to meet our clients' needs.
Delivery: Slalom believes that client facing roles should add value to our clients and have a delivery and advisory component to them. Without that, we risk losing credibility - and trust. Utilization is important metric that is a key business driver.
Business Management: As a leader of a portfolio, client service leaders are a business builder responsible for ensuring the profitability and stability of the portfolio, managing risk, and ensuring the long-term viability of the business. A client service leader is responsible for an annual portfolio of $2.5M-5M+ that is typically industry aligned.
Relentless Focus on Teams: Another of Slalom's pillars is Relentless Focus on Teams. As a Client Partner, you'll have the opportunity to shape and lead delivery teams at the client sites - aiding in the delivery in transformational programs.
Ambassador of Values: As a leader in the market, the client leader is a constant ambassador of Slalom's core values and ensures we exemplify our values in our delivery and interactions with clients, recruits, and the overall market.

What will I bring?
• 7+ years prior consulting experience is required including business / client leadership.
• Advanced project delivery including all aspects of business advisory or technology program/project management.
• Previous P&L responsibilities and ownership over your part of the business, is required.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and tactfully across all levels of the organization to achieve best outcomes for our clients.
• Confidence in navigating through complexity and conflicts as they arise.
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills is required while maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset.

Hybrid/In office: We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements
