Position SummaryThe
General Dentist provides comprehensive dental care to infants, children, adults, and older adults, while promoting oral health education and preventive care. This position is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries of the teeth, gums, and related oral structures, as well as ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
- Review medical and dental histories and evaluate each patient's overall health at every visit.
- Identify patient concerns and address contraindications before treatment.
- Chart and report all pathological conditions and findings to patients.
- Prescribe medications as needed and document all care provided in accordance with Noble Clinics' policies.
- Design and fabricate dentures or other appliances to replace missing or diseased teeth.
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride applications, sealants, and patient education on oral hygiene and diet.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for referrals or consultations as appropriate.
- Participate in on-call rotations as determined by the clinic.
- Assist the Chief Dental Officer and Dental Practice Manager in monitoring and directing clinical performance of dental hygienists and assistants.
- Supervise x-ray procedures, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct quality clinical and radiographic evaluations.

Education, Licensure, and Experience Requirements- Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry (D.D.S. or D.M.D.).
- Residency in pediatric dentistry and/or a master's degree in public health dentistry preferred.
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current DEA registration and prescribing privileges.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
