The Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS) Product Area is seeking an accomplished Program Manager, Associate Director to support the Gen 5 Family of Systems (FoS) Production program execution. This position will report directly to the Execution Program Director over the area. This position will specifically be responsible for the Production Hardware IPTLs across the production contract, which has large annual sales and backlog. The responsibilities include execution of cost and schedule of all production hardware builds, material execution to meet build plans, and significant partnering with OSC and multiple factory leads to consistently achieve significant build rate increases and deliveries. This position will require direct relationship development and interface with the Prime and in some instances with end USG customers. This is the first of many production contracts planned for this portfolio.

This role is onsite located in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for critical Integrated Product Team and Control Account Manager across all production contracts to meet cost and schedule commitments.
  • Execute and improve cadence (battle rhythm) and actionable metrics to achieve goals and achieve increase throughput of builds.
  • Partnering with internal factories and suppliers to achieve program commitments.
  • Directly support entire financial cadence, including risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
  • Leading with influence for matrixed team development and organization.
  • Meeting commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
  • Support programs through various phases, including proposal and contract close-out activities.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, and/or administrative functions.
  • Experience leading profit and loss (P&L) of DoD contracts as a program manager or functional leadership.
  • Experience managing, tracking, and/or reporting through EAC review and customer Program Management Reviews (PMR) or similar metrics.
  • Experience in program or project management managing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • An active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access and/or Top Secret after start


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources.
  • Production experience.
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification or related experience.
  • Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and start-up packages for management review and approval.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional disciplines, manage tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a strong understanding or risk & opportunity management and mitigation/capture best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills necessary for interfacing with customers, suppliers, and team members with varying backgrounds and experience dealing with challenging situations.
  • Program Management Level-4 Certification (or within 12 months of hire)

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
