Role Overview:This role focuses on the design and implementation of robust data governance frameworks and enterprise data architecture within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The successful candidate will be responsible for defining data classification, quality, lineage, retention, and ensuring GxP/regulatory compliance. The position also involves developing and maintaining canonical and domain-specific data models to ensure consistency and interoperability across the GCP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, encompassing data classification, quality, lineage, retention, and GxP/regulatory compliance.
- Develop enterprise data architecture strategies aligned with Data Mesh and Data Fabric patterns, focusing on defining domain-oriented data products with clear ownership and contracts.
- Create and maintain Canonical Data Models (CDM) and various domain-specific data models to ensure data consistency and interoperability throughout the GCP platform.
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, principles, and guidelines across the GCP platform and collaborating stakeholder organizations.
- Work closely with data engineers and platform teams to ensure that all architecture patterns are implementable, scalable, and fully aligned with GCP-native tooling.
Required Skills:- Expertise in Google Cloud (GCP) platform.
Qualifications:- 10+ years of relevant experience.
