Technical Product Manager - Worldwide Purchasing ExperienceAbout the Role
We want an ambitious GBX Product Manager to join Toronto's Global Buying Experience team. This role plays a key part in changing cross-border supply results while working alongside top Search and Product Knowledge teams. You will ensure shoppers can easily find, comprehend, and buy products from around the world. You will translate complex technical functions into customer-facing experiences that affect the business measurably.
What You'll Do- Develop and take responsibility for the product strategy and roadmap for cross-border supply enablement within the global buying experience, from discovery to purchase.
- Partner closely with Search to improve how cross-border eligible items are found and their relevance for global customers.
- Partner deeply with Product Knowledge to improve item eligibility, compliance, and customer comprehension across locales.
- Define and maintain end-to-end requirements to enable cross-border selection, focusing on eligibility signals, constraints, and localization needs.
- Drive technical execution through clear PRDs, user stories, and close engagement with engineering on architecture and tradeoffs.
- Build a strong measurement framework to cover availability, discoverability, conversion, cancellations/returns, delivery promise accuracy, and buyer trust.
- Lead experimentation and iteration, including A/B tests and offline evaluations, to validate improvements and quantify incremental value.
- Coordinate across multiple collaborators to deliver scalable solutions.
- Improve customer trust and transparency by ensuring cross-border constraints are accurately represented throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities (Deliverables)
- Develop a multi-quarter roadmap and prioritized backlog aligned to global growth goals.
- Build PRDs, technical requirements, and data specifications for search and knowledge integrations.
- Build experiment plans, success metrics, and conduct post-launch analyses.
- Produce cross-team alignment artifacts like dependency maps, launch plans, and blocking issue paths.
- Establish ongoing operational mechanisms to monitor funnel health and supply coverage by country/locale.

- Higher coverage and quality of product attributes required for international eligibility and comprehension.
- Improved conversion and buyer happiness, with stable or reduced cancellations/returns.

- Faster iteration cycles through strong experimentation and durable metrics.
Minimum Qualifications- 5-10 years of product management experience, including technical product ownership.
- Experience working with search/recommendation/relevance systems and/or catalog/product knowledge.
- Strong ability to write clear requirements and guide technical development tradeoffs with engineering.
- Data-driven decision-making experience (A/B testing, metrics development, funnel analysis).
- Proven track record leading cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cross-border commerce, internationalization/localization, or global supply eligibility systems.
- Familiarity with ranking evaluation and experimentation platforms.
- Domain exposure to shipping promise, landed cost, compliance/policy constraints, or returns economics.
- Ability to drive alignment across geographically distributed collaborator groups.

Additional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
C$133,200 - C$177,800
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
