Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, your day will blend strategic planning with hands-on execution. You'll prepare and lead gas turbine commissioning projects from start to finish-reviewing schedules, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring every detail is ready before you step on site. Once in the field, you'll take ownership of commissioning activities, troubleshooting technical challenges, guiding stakeholders, and ensuring each turbine is brought online safely, efficiently, and to specification. Your technical expertise and leadership will make a visible impact as you independently manage projects and help expand our North America service operations.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead on-site pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of new gas turbine installations, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and control system issues during commissioning.
  • Perform performance testing and system validation to confirm equipment meets design and operational requirements.
  • Develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and test procedures to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation and manuals for seamless client handover.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, contractors, and internal teams, providing clear updates and reports.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and reinforcing best practices in the field.
What you Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the commissioning, start-up, and servicing of large-frame gas turbines.
  • Apply deep technical expertise across control systems, electrical and mechanical engineering, PLCs, and SCADA environments.
  • Independently lead and execute complex commissioning projects with minimal supervision.
  • Diagnose issues using strong analytical, investigative, and troubleshooting skills to drive effective solutions.
  • Plan and manage project schedules, workflows, and quality assurance/quality control processes.
  • Influence outcomes by collaborating effectively with stakeholders and mentoring others through technical leadership.
