Job DescriptionCurrent work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity's dynamic working arrangement.The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.The Opportunity:The Fund Tax Analyst Senior is a member of the Fund Treasurer's Office and reports to the Director, Fund Tax. This role will assist the Fund Tax Managers , with responsibilities including the review of fund distributions, tax returns and other compliance requirements, and the support of special projects and key strategic initiatives of the organization.
What You Will Do:- Tax compliance includes the review of monthly, quarterly, annual distribution calculation prepared by service providers.
- Review and file yearly T3 Trust Income Tax Returns and applicable foreign tax returns.
- Prepare tax analysis on fund events including large rebalancing, client redemptions, etc.
- Prepare internal stakeholder reporting for ETFs
- Prepare documentation required for foreign reclaims and ad-hoc requests relate to this nature
- Assist with the review of FCSC taxable position
- Assist with non-routine projects as they arise
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree ideally in accounting or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in tax related role
- Financial institution industry experience is an asset
- CPA, Master's of Taxation are an asset

- Good knowledge of IFRS tax accounting standards.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good presentation skills including presenting to non-tax persons or senior management on complicated tax matters.
- Strong proficiency with excel (pivot tables and v-lookups), tax research database (such as CCH) and Taxprep software

Base Salary and discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $105,000 to $123,000, based on experience and qualifications.
