JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a team within the Private Bank supporting fund distribution events for private equity and venture capital clients across North America. The team partners with Funds, Investors, Fund Bankers, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience throughout the distribution lifecycle.

As a Fund Distribution Relationship Manager within the Private Bank, you will own end-to-end relationships and execution for distribution in-kind events primarily involving Private Equity and Venture Capital clients across North America. In this role, you will lead initial kickoffs with Funds to align on process, requirements, and timelines; oversee collection and resolution of LP settlement instructions; coordinate internal due diligence engagement; and provide clear, consistent status updates to Fund Bankers and Investors through completion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with the Fund, LPs, Fund Bankers, and Investors for distribution events.
  • Lead the initial kickoff with the Fund to align on process, requirements, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Collect LP settlement instructions; validate completeness and accuracy and resolve breaks or discrepancies as needed.
  • Engage Investment Product Specialists to complete due diligence review requirements and lead follow-ups to closure.
  • Partner closely with the Distributions Servicing Team to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Provide status updates and respond to inquiries from Fund Bankers and Investors in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete required callbacks and verification steps in accordance with established processes and controls.
  • Track milestones, risks, and open items; escalate issues as appropriate to support timely execution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously improve process execution, transparency, and the client and investor experience.
  • Maintain communication across all parties to ensure alignment throughout the distribution lifecycle.
  • Support implementation of process enhancements and operational efficiencies where appropriate.
     

    Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate 6 years of relevant experience in relationship management, client service, fund operations, custody and settlement, or financial services.
  • Apply strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to manage multiple parallel deliverables under tight timelines.
  • Resolve issues efficiently while exercising sound judgment and partnering effectively with external counterparties.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and a strong control mindset, particularly regarding settlement instructions, callbacks, and due diligence requirements.
  • Integrate AI-driven solutions into daily workflows.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree.
