Full Job Description
Position Overview

This position will work across BTG Pactual Global Alternatives' strategies including private equity, private credit, and direct private investments (collectively, the "Funds"). This position has been created due to AUM growth and increased responsibilities within the group. This new hire will be involved in all aspects of the business including accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, tax, treasury, valuation, operations and overall finance-related functions of the Funds and the investment manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help ensure the accurate and timely presentation of financial statements and footnote disclosure for the Funds
  • Assist in coordinating external audits
  • Support communication with outside service providers (administrators, auditors, tax consultants, etc.)
  • Assist with Funds' expense accruals, tracking/payment, allocations
  • Prepare quarterly NAVs for private equity and private credit vehicles
  • Assist in review of new fund creation and closing of investment transactions
  • Coordinate with administrator on capital calls, distributions and other investor communications
  • Perform treasury functions for Funds
  • Assist in preparation of regulatory and compliance reporting
  • Assist in tracking portfolio investments, including maintenance of private credit interest schedules and reconciliation of interest income and principal payments
  • Assist with investor questions and other investor relations tasks as needed
  • Complete ad hoc project based work
Key Experiences and Competencies
  • Strong academic background
  • Team player with excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills
  • 2-3 years of relevant public accounting work experience in the asset management industry, preferably with private equity and/or private credit experience
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills, problem solving and multitasking abilities. Very organized.
  • Self-starter, motivated and takes ownership over work product. Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • CPA License preferred.
