Providence Swedish Neuroscience Institute - Seattle, WA

Providence Swedish Neuroscience Institute is recruiting a fellowship-trained Functional and Epilepsy Cranial Neurosurgeon to join and help lead a growing, nationally recognized neuroscience program. This is a rare opportunity to shape and expand a comprehensive epilepsy and functional neurosurgery program within a collaborative, high-acuity academic environment.

Position Highlights
  • Lead and grow an advanced functional and epilepsy neurosurgery practice, with approximately 40% subspecialty focus and the balance in general neurosurgery
  • Compensation is between $858,913 and $1225139 annually
  • Perform complex cranial procedures including SEEG, RNS, DBS, VNS, LITT, open epilepsy surgery, stereotactic procedures, and neuromodulation
  • Practice primarily on the Issaquah campus while remaining fully integrated into the broader Swedish Neuroscience Institute for complex cases, inpatient care, and shared call
  • Work alongside experienced advanced practice clinicians, neurophysiology, nursing, and perioperative teams that support high-acuity surgical care
  • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary epilepsy conferences and comprehensive pre-surgical evaluation pathways
  • Enjoy a sustainable call model supported by APC daytime coverage and cranial fellow support overnight and on weekends
