POSITION: Functional Consultant
JOB LOCATION: 1501 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, Ste 140, Dallas, TX 75234 [and various
unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute/work from home]
Functional Consultant needed by o9 Solutions, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute/work from home] to Design, configure, and implement scalable solutions using the o9 platform to address com-plex business requirements in supply chain and
operations. Develop and deploy configuration changes, scripts, and enhancements post go-live to support evolving customer needs. Participate in platform-level customizations, API integrations, and performance tuning activities. Monitor platform health and resolve technical issues to ensure high availability and data accuracy. Analyze logs, troubleshoot errors, and debug configuration or data-related issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for any o9 platform-level upgrades, patches, or hotfix deployments. Identify design gaps of inefficiencies in the current solution architecture and coordinate with cross-functional consultants to implement corrective measures. Create and execute test cases for workflows and data analytics pipelines to validate new feature implementations or enhancements. Track and resolve bugs/issues using ticketing and support tools. Support Super Users and End Users across global teams through documentation, training sessions, and post deployment handholding. Partner with customer stakeholders, internal product teams, and operations to continuously improve platform usability and feature robustness. Actively gather and analyze customer feedback to suggest improvements to internal tools, development workflows, and product features. Drive process automation, efficiency improvement, and scalability through engineering best practices. Work on implementing and supporting products like Demand Planning, and Supply Planning; Analysis, Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R/Java script/Python. Utilize databases including SQL Server and SQL. Work with Data Visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation working on implementing and supporting products like Demand Planning, and Supply Planning; Analysis, Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R/Java script/Python; utilizing databases including SQL Server and SQL; and working with Data Visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
