Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and experience working in enterprise or cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot
- Build and expose RESTful web services and APIs for frontend and third-party integrations
- Develop microservices and ensure high performance, scalability, and security
- Implement business logic, data access layers, and service integrations
- Work with JPA/Hibernate for database interactions and optimization
- Ensure Beeline / forecast-aligned code releases through CI/CD pipelines
- Write unit tests and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, etc.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams
- Follow Agile/Scrum development practices and SDLC standards
Required Skills- Strong proficiency in Java (8+)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data
- Experience in developing REST APIs
- Knowledge of JPA / Hibernate
- Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code versioning
- Good understanding of exception handling, logging, and security
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:
$80000 to $95652 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
