Role

The Seller Insights team empowers sellers to scale their businesses by delivering critical data and actionable intelligence. As we redefine live commerce, we need to equip sellers-ranging from hobbyists to high-volume entrepreneurs-with the clear, data-driven insights necessary to optimize their strategy, inventory, and sales performance.

As a Fullstack Software Engineer on the Seller Insights team, you will be pivotal in shaping the platform that translates complex data into intuitive, high-impact user experiences. You will own the end-to-end development of features that help our community thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop sophisticated data visualizations and UI components that turn complex analytics into clear, actionable seller strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and fellow engineers to identify seller pain points and translate them into scalable, high-performance features.
  • Navigate the full technical stack, from backend data pipelines to frontend interfaces, ensuring a seamless and performant analytics experience.
  • Iterate rapidly on new insights and tools, directly influencing how sellers grow their businesses on Whatnot.

We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs, and we value in-person time for planning, problem-solving, and connection. Team members in this role must live within commuting distance of our New York hub.

As our next fullstack engineer you should have (e.g. 4+ years of generalist software development experience in high growth startups), plus:
