Full Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) for Community Housing Services

Location: Minneapolis (Elliot Park and Longfellow)

Starting Pay: $40 to $42 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only, 40 hours per week

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a work schedule of 40 hours a week (Schedule is split between two programs located in Minneapolis)
  • Model proper medication assistance skills according to licensing requirements and agency procedures
  • Establishes supportive and motivational relationships with clients on a daily basis
  • Meet with clients to assist with medications and offer support in managing their illness on a daily basis
  • Assist clients in understanding and building skills to address their mental health and substance use on a daily basis
  • Perform medication setups for clients on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate care with medical providers and pharmacists to promote health and manage medication supply for clients
  • Perform ongoing assessments at intake, every six months, and as needed to identify appropriate health and medication supports
  • Perform behavioral management interventions and demonstrate de-escalation skills when necessary
  • Maintain client records in the electronic health record (Credible)
  • Collaborate with staff, interns, volunteers and others


Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:
  • License as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota required
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record required
  • Experience supporting adults living with a mental illness, chemical dependency issues, and/or co-occurring disorders strongly desired
  • Experience supporting adults within a residential program desired
  • Experience supporting older adults desired
  • Experience supporting a tobacco free living environment desired
