Position Summary

The PA-C or NP will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is committed to excellent patient care, strong clinical communication, teamwork, and evidence-based medicine.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct primary care services to adult patients within the provider's scope and credentials
  • Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and follow-up visits
  • Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
  • Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when appropriate
  • Develop, implement, and manage evidence-based treatment plans
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
  • Maintain quality, compliance, and patient-safety standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team
Qualifications

Education
  • MSN or DNP for Nurse Practitioners (NP-C or NP-BC), or
  • MPAS or equivalent accredited Physician Assistant education (PA-C)

Licensure
  • Current, clear, and unrestricted California license
  • Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain as required

Experience
  • 1+ year of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred, but not required
  • Leadership experience preferred, but not required
