SummaryAs a Full Stack Engineer at Recuro Health, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining our various systems with our larger telehealth offering and tools supporting internal and external teams. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to implement efficient, scalable, maintainable, and secure web applications. Your work will span the entire stack. By writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to our continuous integration and delivery processes, you will help ensure our products meet the highest standards in performance, security, and user experience. This role will be highly dynamic and the scope of our projects span across various teams and clients. The ideal candidate is excited by the challenge of working in multiple domains and is comfortable with shifting priorities as the team and company continue to grow. This is a growing team whose primary focus is supporting internal stakeholders navigate Recuro's offerings more efficiently and make the most of what Recuro has to offer.
Requirements
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain our administration tools that empower internal teams to support our external clients
- Contribute across the stack - from front-end components to server-side logic to databases
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality features
- Conduct code reviews to provide feedback to maintain consistency and quality coding standards
- Help improve engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure
Required Skills- Comfortable learning new tools and domains as our team's impact stretches across the entire organization
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go)
- Capable of using AI coding tools without completely relying on their output and blindly trusting their solutions
- Ability to design, build, and consume APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) and work with SQL and/or Postgres databases
- Understanding of system design fundamentals: caching, load balancing, queues, and basic scalability tradeoffs
Nice-To-Have Skills- Experience developing user interfaces with React and NodeJS
- Experience developing services with C# or Golang or production environments
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Experience with advanced reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with designing and developing a product feature or feature-set end to end
- At least two years of professional software engineering experience
- Understanding of telehealth and healthcare industry
- Understanding of Healthcare Technology Standards and Regulations (HIPAA, FHIR, HITECH, etc.)
Location Preferences: This role is open to Remote, but our preference for an ideal candidate would be hybrid with at least one to two days in office each week to work directly with our Engineering Team in our Minneapolis Office.
