Overview

We're looking for a Full Stack TechSoftware Engineerwith expertise across the frontend (React, TypeScript, CSS, HTML) and backend (Node.js, Express.js,OpenAPI, relational databases) stack tojoinour app team.Working closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers, you'll iterate quickly on features, improve performance, and build out a secure, scalable platform for real-world military and government users. This rolefocuses onhands-on codingand software design, spanning everything from UI workflows toAPI development to database architecture. This role requires an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

  • Write quality software,participate incode reviews, andhelp developbest practices and documentation.
  • Supportfull-stack systems design decisionsinvolvingAPI architecture, data models, and UI component structure.
  • Embrace AI-drive development,buildingthe guardrails, validation layers, end-to-end tests, and supporting systems that keep AI-assisted output safe, reliable, and production-grade.
  • Build intuitive, responsive front-end experiences using React and modern component libraries, translating requirements into clean, reusable UI components.
  • Write clean, secure back-end services usingExpress.js, with a focus on REST APIs, modular design, andPrisma ORM.
  • Collaborate across design, product,DevSecOps, and field teams to launch features quickly and securely.
  • Supportautomated testing and code quality gates by writing and reviewing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, squash performance bottlenecks, andbuild for IL6deployment requirements.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Demonstratedexpertise infull stack software development.
  • Experienceusing AI-enabled development toolsto rapidly ship software.
  • Strong frontend skills: React (component design, hooks, modern front-end patterns), JavaScript/TypeScript, and a solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Strong backend skills:Express.JS, with hands-on experiencewith Prisma ORMand relational databases, plus a solid understanding of SQL, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Experience with testing tools across the stack (e.g., Jest,Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress) and a track record of building automated validation and end-to-end testing into delivery.
  • Familiarity with secure software development practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab,etc).
  • Comfortablewith Agile/Lean, rapid delivery cycles,and direct user feedback loops.

 

Bonus Points For:

  • Hands-on work with secure government environments (DoD, IL5+, FedRAMP).
  • Experience buildinggeospatialapplications.
  • Certifications like Security+ and AWS Developer/Architect.
  • Past experienceat a startup or in rapid-growth teams.
