is seeking candidates for a
Full Stack Software Developer to support the
Maneuver Air Directorate. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern C#/.NET web APIs and backend services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, including data contracts, validation, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Design and implement data access solutions using PostgreSQL.
- Support cybersecurity and data protection requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and ensure reliable communication between application layers.
- Document processes, techniques, and best practices for application development and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of API solutions into existing systems and workflows.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated experience building and supporting web applications.
- Strong professional experience developing, testing, and maintaining RESTful web APIs in the .NET ecosystem.
- Experience working with relational databases, including querying, designing, and optimizing databases.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including testing, debugging, code reviews, and application performance optimization.
- Experience with Git version control and a DevSecOps Platform such as GitLab.
- Experience working with Docker or other containerization technologies.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong understanding of the C# language.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks and languages such as React, Typescript, and Javascript.
- Experience with API documentation and tooling such as OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Familiarity with developing reusable NPM packages or component libraries.
- Experience integrating frontend solutions with backend APIs, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
