You must be interested in the design and development of web, mobile, and set-top box based applications. Among our interests are: experience in Android, Java, and their related IDEs (Android Studio, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA) as well as familiarity with the integration of network services. Experience with HTML, CSS, and Front End Javascript Frameworks (Vue, Angular, and Backbone) as well as web application programming in a Django/Python environment. Experience with SQL and relational databases, strong documentation skills, knowledge of object oriented programming concepts, and the ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent projects. Candidates should have a desire to be challenged and to have their efforts rewarded as the company grows.
Qualifications:
- Very strong JavaScript experience. A good understanding of the power and limitations of JS and integrations with other technologies.
- Experience with VueJS, Angular, Backbone, or JS Frameworks a plus.
- Experience with Python, Django, MVC a plus.
- Working knowledge of CSS preprocessor, such as Sass, or PostCSS a plus.
- Working Knowledge or experience with deploying code using Webpack, Git and/or Jenkins.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
- Highly motivated and proactive.
- Driven to build the best interactive audio/video experience.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand highly technical and abstract concepts.
- Proven ability to solve complex real-world problems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired.
