Overview

This Role is 100% REMOTE

 

As anEngineerinour Global Technology Solutionsdepartment, you willbe responsible fordesigning, developing, testing, andmaintaininghigh-quality systems and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology infrastructure is robust, scalable, and aligned with the company'sobjectives. 

Responsibilities
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market to partner to Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems and applications. 
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that followsindustrybest practices. 
  • Conduct thorough testing of systems and applications to ensure functionality, security, and performance. 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers and junior engineers. 
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing anyissuesand proactivelyidentifyingopportunities to improve existing systems and processes. 
  • Maintain and update documentation related to system design, development, and maintenance processes.
  • Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
  • Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Impactsa range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, ora relatedfield. 
  • 3+ years9 experience with software development, system administration, or network management, depending on the specific discipline. 
  • 3+ years9 experience using programming languages . 
  • 3+ years9 experience with operating systems, databases, and networking protocols. 
  • 3+ years9 experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure).

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $80000 - $115000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
