Position Description: CGI is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Angular and JavaScript to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience designing, developing, and supporting modern, scalable web applications and will be comfortable working across both front end and back-end components.
This role focuses on supporting and enhancing existing production web applications - including troubleshooting, defect resolution, and incremental feature development - as part of a dedicated production support and small enhancement team.
Experience with Python is a plus, and prior experience working with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
This work can be performed near one of our CGI offices - Plymouth, Meeting, New Brunswick, NJ, Lafayette, LA, Cary, NC, New York, NY and Hartford, CT.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack web applications.
. Build responsive and reusable front end components using Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
. Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
. Participate in application design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
. Follow software engineering best practices, including clean coding standards, version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
. Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis and corrective solutions.
. Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
. Solid understanding of modern front end development concepts, component-based architecture, and responsive application design.
. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
. Experience with backend application development and integration.
. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle practices and object-oriented programming principles.
. Experience with source control tools such as Git.
. Experience with automated testing, debugging, and application performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
. Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure application and cloud services.
. Experience with cloud native application development, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
. Hands on development experience with Python.
. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.
. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD and work management platforms.
. Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $102,000.00 $137,000.00.
