Fulfillment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to purchase goods from internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers according to the delivery schedule, transportation mode, price, special requirements, and terms and conditions. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities are aligned with company purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by handling urgent situations to ensure timely deliveries.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Releasing purchase requisitions and initiating purchase orders in the system, aligning them with customer requirements (based on ERP and standard operation procedures) and as per the release strategy and table of authorities.
- Monitoring suppliers' order acknowledgments and dispatch advice, along with the inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation processes.
- Tracking the purchase orders backlog and performing regular expending activities with internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers to ensure customer on-time delivery.
- Minimizing the late backlog by proactively identifying root causes and implementing recovery plans; and tracking goods received at the warehouse to verify appropriate delivery and ensures invoice processing and high customer service level.
- Perform subcontracting tasks with third party suppliers; Resolve non-conforming material processing; Monitor exception messages and perform inventory management tasks; Resolve goods receipts errors and pending payments to supplier.
Qualifications for the role:- Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, or related technical/STEM field of study PLUS minimum 1 year experience in Material Planning or Purchasing/Supply Chain Management OR Associate degree PLUS 3 years related experience
- Demonstrated use of SAP in prior roles.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and strong communication skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $68,600 and $109,760 annually.
