Job PurposeThe Front of House Manager is responsible for leading all guest-facing operations to deliver a high-energy, elevated hospitality experience. This role oversees service execution, staff performance, guest satisfaction, and floor operations, ensuring consistency with Puttery's brand standards while driving revenue, efficiency, and team engagement.
Responsibilities - Lead and oversee all front-of-house service areas, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival through departure, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain service standards aligned with brand expectations, including pacing, presentation, and hospitality tone
- Actively manage the floor during peak periods to ensure smooth flow, engagement, and energy
- Create and manage FOH schedules to align with business volume and labor targets
- Ensure proper staffing coverage for regular service, events, and high-volume periods
- Collaborate with BOH, Events, and Management teams to ensure operational alignment
- Monitor daily readiness, including pre-shift meetings, staff appearance, and station setup
- Support revenue growth through strong service execution, upselling, and guest engagement
- Monitor labor, service efficiency, and cost controls within FOH operations
- Assist in inventory oversight for front-of-house supplies and bar operations
- Support event execution and private bookings from a service and guest-experience perspective
- Hire, train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members
- Set clear expectations around performance, service standards, and professionalism
- Conduct performance feedback, disciplinary actions, and recognition as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and company policies
- Enforce responsible alcohol service and food safety standards
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and compliant workplace environment
Qualifications - 3+ years of management experience in high-volume hospitality, nightlife, or entertainment venues
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong guest-service mindset with confident decision-making skills
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, and performance coaching
- Knowledge of alcohol service regulations and hospitality best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions - Fast-paced, high-energy environment with extended periods of standing and walking
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required
- Exposure to loud music, crowds, and nightlife-style settings
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move throughout the venue as needed
Pay Range: $62,000 - $68,000 per hour
