Franchise Sales Consultant – Remote
Based in Minnesota, Wisconsin, & Illinois
Expected travel: 30-50%
The Job:
As a Franchise Sales Consultant, you’ll be part of our Mac Tools team team working as a sales professional in the field. This person will oversee franchise recruitment in the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, & Michigan market. You’ll get to:
- Manage all franchise lead activity using Salesforce.com
- Travel 30% each month
- Work with Mac Tools leadership to ensure that the franchise candidate selections are consistent with business objectives, growth, integrity, and retention.
- Identify and plan recruiting focus areas within the assigned territory to close competitive gaps and improve market share.
- Contact and manage all franchise candidates leads from multiple lead generation activities
- Develop relationships with candidates to ensure a high level of candidate experience and responsiveness
- Contribute to candidate experience by developing and sharing recruiting “best practices” with Recruiting team
- Network extensively in the marketplace in an effort to source candidates for open areas
- Develop and manage candidate lead reporting metrics, reports, and pipelines
The Person:

- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Previous sales experience in a long sales cycle process or sales experience within the consumer goods market.
- Ability to accurately and completely communicate the value of a Mac Tools Franchise
- Solid understanding and experience with Salesforce software and analytics to manage leads
- Clear ability to communicate with passion, enthusiasm and integrity
- Strong Interview, Selling, and Closing Skills
- Ability to coordinate closely with other team members to ensure a successful franchise start
- A proven track record of starting and sourcing successful candidates
- Expert in developing reporting tools to streamline day-to-day work.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability to provide quick solutions
- Effective at performing detail-oriented tasks
- Ability to manage and lead multiple projects at one time
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to manage across functions at various levels.
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Must live with in the territory they manage: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, & Michigan
- The ability to travel 30-50% each month

The Total Target Cash Compensation range for this position is $105,000.00 - $169,100.00
This is the lowest to highest total target cash compensation range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Total target cash compensation offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission. Therefore, the total target cash compensation range is inclusive of base salary and target variable cash compensation. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker.
