Responsibilities

Franchise & Growth Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted growth partner to Franchise leadership, AVPs, and franchise owners, identifying opportunities that support expansion and profitability.
  • Partner directly with franchisees to analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, and develop recommendations that improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leaders to evaluate brand performance, customer trends, market opportunities, and demand forecasts that support franchise expansion strategies.
  • Provide consultative support on franchise territory planning, investment decisions, royalty optimization, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Develop executive-level analyses and business cases that integrate financial, operational, market, and customer data to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into actionable growth recommendations for Franchise leadership and executive stakeholders.

Market Analysis & Growth Opportunity
  • Track the competitive landscape - PE roll-ups, independent operators, and other franchise systems in M&E contracting - to spot expansion and white-space opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends affecting ABM Franchising Group: labor market shifts, technology adoption, regulatory change.
  • Benchmark franchisee vs. corporate-owned economics against industry norms to identify growth levers.
  • Stay current on franchising-sector trends broadly - royalty structures, renewal rates, brand differentiation strategies.
  • Bring outside market context into internal planning - not limited to analysis of internal data.

Growth & Territory Modeling
  • Build scenario models (Do-Nothing / Base Case / Best Case) tied to strategic growth frameworks such as Project 30/30.
  • Model franchise unit economics - territory potential, revenue ramp, breakeven timelines - to support expansion decisions.
  • Build sensitivity models showing how delivery delays, recruitment pace, or margin erosion affect long-term growth targets.
  • Translate financial data into growth decision-support models - distinct from forecasts or statements owned by Finance.

Discovery & Requirements
  • Elicit and document requirements across technology, recruitment, and franchise development initiatives.
  • Validate and prioritize requirements based on strategic fit, not stakeholder volume alone.
  • Maintain traceability from requirements through to delivered outcomes.

Stakeholder Alignment
  • Serve as liaison between board, franchise development, technology teams, and the field - without owning execution in any of those areas.
  • Translate technical or operational detail into strategic growth narrative for leadership.
  • Facilitate alignment across functions with competing priorities.

Documentation & Governance
  • Maintain a single source of truth across colliding documents - roadmaps, status decks, and correspondence.
  • Maintain a decision log for open items and unresolved questions.

Surface discrepancies and scope gaps before they reach leadership.
