Full Job Description
As Franchise Development Director, you will own the franchise development process from initial lead engagement through meet the team day and franchise award (although we should note that we have an organic lead qualifier AND a consultant concierge who fill your calendar once leads are accepted!). You'll work closely with franchise consultants, marketing, legal, compliance, and operations teams to drive qualified candidate flow and achieve aggressive unit growth objectives. The ideal candidate brings both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, with the ability to build relationships, manage a disciplined sales pipeline, and consistently close franchise agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Drive franchise unit growth across the HomeFront Brands portfolio, managing candidates from initial inquiry through franchise award. Leverage and expand existing relationships with franchise consultants, and referral networks including IFPG, FranChoice, Franchise Sidekick, FranServe, The You Network, The Franchise Consulting Company, The Perfect Franchise, and similar organizations. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified franchise candidates. Represent HomeFront Brands at consultant conferences, our monthly Meet the Team Day event, and other industry events. Guide qualified candidates through FDD review, validation calls, financing discussions, and the franchise discovery process. Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure a smooth and compliant path to franchise agreement execution. Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging, lead qualification criteria, and sales collateral based on conversion data and market feedback. Track and report key sales metrics including lead volume, consultant performance, conversion rates, and cost per franchise sold. Work alongside our Brand Presidents and their teams to support franchisee onboarding and long-term success. Represent HomeFront Brands' culture, brands, and value proposition with credibility, transparency, and professionalism.

Qualifications Required

5+ years of franchise development or related business development experience. Established, active relationships with franchise brokers and consultants. Demonstrated success closing franchise agreements and achieving unit growth goals. Strong knowledge of franchise development processes, FDD disclosure requirements, and validation best practices. Experience managing a multi-stage sales pipeline within a CRM environment (HubSpot experience preferred). Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Marketing, Operations, and executive leadership teams. Willingness to travel as needed. Preferred Experience within a multi-brand franchise organization. Home-services franchise experience. Existing involvement with leading franchise consultant networks.
