Fitch Group is seeking an FP&A Lead to support the Fitch Solutions business, based in New York.

The FP&A Lead will serve as a critical finance partner to the Fitch Solutions shared services functions. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, can manage complex workstreams and deliver clear, executive-ready insights to senior leader audience under tight deadlines.

The individual will own data-driven analysis and provide FP&A support across Fitch Solutions shared services organizations, including the Commercial and Product organizations. Responsibilities include expense planning and budgeting, departmental P&L reporting, resource and cost management, and analysis that supports effective business decision-making. The FP&A Lead will bring a data-driven mindset and strong execution and process discipline, ensuring FP&A outputs are accurate, scalable, decision-oriented, and actionable for senior business leaders.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Support the annual budget, long-term financial planning process, and periodic forecasts for shared services organizations within Fitch Solutions.
  • Own the preparation of monthly headcount and expense reporting, including P&L variance analysis versus budget, headcount and compensation metrics, and operational performance reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators to drive cost management, operating discipline, and efficiency across the organization.
  • Enhance financial planning and reporting processes by driving automation and AI-enabled initiatives; implement best practices for expense budgeting, forecasting, and headcount management.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop business cases for investments and initiatives, providing financial guidance and analytical support to drive growth and profitability.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic projects through rigorous financial analysis.
  • Participate in and support financial due diligence for M&A activity and other strategic initiatives

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000-$125,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
