Serving as the project manager for these critical planning cycles, this role manages timelines, milestones, stakeholder inputs, and deliverables across Finance, other functional teams, and each business line to produce a consistent, accurate, and actionable view of enterprise financial performance. The position partners closely with leaders to gather assumptions, validate projections, analyze variances, and translate financial results into clear insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for senior leadership. This role also drives continuous improvement in planning processes, forecasting standards, tools, templates, and data models to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and enterprise alignment.

Responsibilities:
  • Owns the enterprise forecasting and budgeting calendar, managing the end-to-end timeline, milestones, and deliverables to keep all contributors aligned and on schedule.
  • Acts as project manager for the annual plan and periodic reforecasts, coordinating inputs across departments and business units into a consolidated, enterprise-wide income statement forecast.
  • Leads the capital spend planning process, partnering with Real Estate, Construction, IT, and other stakeholders to build, prioritize, and track the capital plan.
  • Facilitates the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process, organizing materials, agendas, and discussions to review actual performance versus forecast and budget.
  • Analyzes variances between actuals and forecast/budget, identifying drivers and translating them into clear, actionable insights for Finance and business leaders.
  • Partners with business unit and functional leaders to gather assumptions, validate projections, and ensure forecasts reflect current operating conditions.
  • Develops and maintains forecasting models and templates that improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across planning cycles.
  • Prepares and presents forecast presentations to senior leadership, tailoring the narrative to highlight risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Drives continuous improvement of planning processes, streamlining workflows, reducing manual effort, and strengthening the discipline and timeliness of each cycle.
  • Establishes and monitors forecasting assumptions and standards, promoting consistency in methodology and a single source of truth across the enterprise.
  • Coordinates with the appropriate technical teams to ensure planning tools, data models, and reporting support accurate and efficient forecasting.
  • Communicates complex financial concepts clearly, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences across Finance, Operations, and executive leadership.
  • Manages multiple concurrent planning workstreams, balancing competing deadlines and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required
  • 5+ years' experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field required
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional processes or projects (e.g., QBRs, planning cycles) required
  • Experience leading forecasting, budgeting, and/or long-range planning processes required
  • Experience with CPM / forecasting tools preferred
  • Experience with data modeling / visualization tools preferred
