Full Job Description
How We Operate
  • Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.
  • Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.
  • First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
  • Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.

The Finance Team
  • Build Fluidstack's entire FP&A function from zero, fast enough to keep pace with one of the fastest-growing infrastructure companies in AI. No inherited process, no legacy model. You'll stand up the annual operating plan, forecasting cadence, and long-range financial model across every business unit and geography while the company is still moving too fast to wait for it.
  • Turn gigawatt-scale operational complexity into a financial story the board and investors can act on. Capital allocation and growth investment decisions run through your numbers, and as Fluidstack moves toward IPO readiness, the reporting bar goes from "good enough for a private company" to public-company grade.
  • Own the P&L bridge end to end, across Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Finance. Nobody hands you clean numbers. You build the systems (NetSuite integration, KPI dashboards, real-time performance visibility) that make variance analysis and business partnership possible at a company scaling this fast.

Role Scope
  • Build and maintain the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast models across business units, consolidating inputs from Engineering, Operations, and Sales into a single set of numbers leadership can act on.
  • Contribute to monthly variance analysis and the P&L bridge, tracing where actuals diverge from plan down to the specific line item before it becomes a surprise in a leadership review.
  • Build financial models and scenario analyses that pressure-test capital allocation and growth investment decisions alongside the FP&A leadership team.
  • Maintain KPI frameworks and financial performance dashboards, pulling and reconciling data from NetSuite and other systems so leadership has real-time visibility into business health.
  • Prepare board and investor reporting materials, turning complex operational data into a clear financial narrative.

What We're Looking For

The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
  • You've built three-statement financial model forecasts and can walk someone through every assumption without hesitation.
  • You have strong financial acumen and can write and present numbers clearly enough that a non-finance stakeholder gets the takeaway in one read.
  • You move fast in Excel or Google Sheets, comfortable building or updating a model under a same-day deadline rather than polishing one indefinitely.
  • Bonus: Experience in the data center, infrastructure, AI/ML, or other capital-intensive sectors. Pigment experience.

Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
  • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.

The salary range for this position is $126,000-$176,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
