FP&A Analyst

Location: Miami, FL

Reports to: Senior M&A Analyst / VP Finance
Position Summary

The FP&A Analyst will work with eMed's Senior M&A Analyst / VP Finance, Finance in conducting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis in support of executive decision-making across the organization. Additionally, the FP&A Analyst will assist in the M&A transaction processes by developing valuation models and pro-forma financial statements, collecting and reviewing due diligence materials, and supporting post-closing variance analysis and benchmarking.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including long-range financial planning and scenario modeling.
  • Monitor public competitors, including earnings, KPIs, valuation metrics, private transactions and capital raises, and sell-side guidance.
  • Develop valuation models and pro-forma financial statements using internal and third-party financial, operational, and healthcare data.
  • Develop market and competitive research for domestic and international opportunities.
  • Collect, review, and organize diligence documentation, and present diligence findings and process updates internally.
  • Summarize, format, and present models and analyses to peers, direct reports, senior management, and third parties, including recurring executive reporting packages, KPI dashboards, board presentations, and investor reporting.
  • Partner with department leaders on financial planning and resource allocation, and support special projects.
  • Build trustworthy relationships with key individuals from acquisition targets and within eMed.
  • Develop a breadth of knowledge around eMed operations, its partners, payers, and the overall digital point of service sector.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to organize, manipulate, analyze, format, and present data within the application, including financial modeling and complex formulas.
  • Proficiency in DCF and comparable company valuations, M&A modeling, and complex transaction modeling, including building and maintaining comparable company and precedent transaction analyses across public and private markets.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of concurrent tasks efficiently, with the ability to present financial information to executive and non-financial audiences.
  • Experience applying AI tools, such as Claude, to modeling and research workflows.
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Graduate degree(s) and/or industry credentials are a plus.
  • 2-5 years of work experience within FP&A, corporate finance, M&A (including buy-side or sell-side work, transaction advisory services, or investment banking), consulting, or related analytical fields.
