About the Role

A well-funded, Y Combinator-backed B2B SaaS startup in the AI-powered quote and order automation space is hiring its first Product Manager. This is a high-impact founding role where you will own the what and why behind an AI-first product, working directly with the CPO and engineering team to turn customer pain points into intuitive, high-adoption solutions. You will shape core workflows, define product direction, and drive measurable time savings for customers in industrial distribution and manufacturing sectors.
What You'll Do
  • Own the full product development cycle from discovery through rollout, with a focus on customer adoption and efficiency gains.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their problems and synthesize feedback from customers, internal teams, and the market.
  • Define and validate product hypotheses with customers; build rapid prototypes to test ideas quickly.
  • Translate customer insights into clear requirements and intuitive, AI-first product experiences designed for non-technical users.
  • Prioritize, scope, and ship new features in close collaboration with engineering and design.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, release notes, and training content to help customers get maximum value from new features.
  • Make complex B2B workflows effortless through thoughtful, iterative product decisions.
What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment with a builder's mindset.
  • Familiarity with code (React, TypeScript, Python) to prototype independently or collaborate closely with engineers - a strong plus.
  • Domain knowledge of AI-enabled software for technical suppliers or distributors in construction, HVAC, electrical, or related industrial sectors - a plus.
  • Fluent in both German and English (required).
