About the RoleThis is a
build-the-engine-from-scratch opportunity, not an execute-an-existing-playbook one. You'll be the first GTM hire at a well-funded, seed-stage startup building graph-native context and memory infrastructure for AI agents - think persistent memory, semantic search, git-style temporal versioning, and entity resolution, all on object storage.
The company is executing across three GTM lanes simultaneously: enterprise anchor deals, Shadow Mode pilots, and PLG self-serve. The ICP is Directors of Engineering and Heads of AI at seed-to-Series D AI companies. You'll own pipeline end to end, sit next to the CEO on deal strategy and positioning, and be the first person accountable to a revenue number.
What You'll Do- Own the full pipeline - from sourcing and qualification through close and expansion - across all three GTM lanes
- Run targeted outbound to Directors of Engineering and Heads of AI at early-to-growth-stage AI companies
- Drive enterprise deal cycles from first call to signed contract
- Design, test, and iterate on the GTM motion: identify what works, cut what doesn't, and build for scale
- Partner closely with the CEO on positioning, deal strategy, and ICP refinement
What We're Looking ForRequired:- Early-stage GTM experience, ideally at a developer tools or infrastructure company
- Track record of owning and being held accountable to a revenue number
- Technical fluency sufficient for credible, peer-level conversations with engineering leaders
- Builder mentality - you thrive creating structure from ambiguity, not following prescribed playbooks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:- Prior experience selling to AI engineering teams
- Experience running PLG and enterprise motions in parallel
- An existing network in the Bay Area AI/ML ecosystem
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $120,000 - $200,000 USD annually, plus meaningful equity
- High-ownership, high-agency environment - your work directly drives revenue
- Wellness programs and free daily meals in the office
- Top-tier hardware and software setup
- Flexible PTO focused on deep work and outcomes
- Learning budget covering books, courses, conferences, and compute
- Periodic team offsites
