About the RoleThis is the first engineering hire at an early-stage B2B SaaS startup building AI-powered workflow automation for distributors and manufacturers. You'll work directly alongside the founders, owning problems end to end - from understanding customer workflows to designing, building, and shipping production features.
What You'll Do- Talk directly with customers to understand their workflows and surface the right problems to solve.
- Build across the full stack: customer-facing features, AI agents, third-party integrations, and infrastructure.
- Improve the evals, tests, and tooling that make each new customer implementation faster and more reliable.
- Ship your first feature to a live customer within your first week.
- Design and implement a customer-driven feature end to end within your first month.
- Own a meaningful surface area of the product, end to end, within your first quarter.
What We're Looking For- Hands-on full-stack development experience shipping production web applications with TypeScript, Next.js, and Python.
- Demonstrated experience building production-ready AI agents, including context engineering, tool design, and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience integrating with legacy systems, APIs, and third-party software platforms (ERP/CRM experience is a plus).
- Comfort conducting customer discovery and translating business problems into technical solutions.
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing, evaluation frameworks, and observability tooling for production systems.
- Prior experience in early-stage startup environments with small teams and rapid iteration cycles.
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, or AI agent orchestration tools is a strong plus.
- Background in B2B operations automation or enterprise software integration is a plus.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range:
$140,000 - $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
