About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the COO AI Center of Excellence team. The role will be responsible for driving adoption and delivery of AI solutions, focusing on the AI Prompt Studio and AI Case Management. This role partners directly with business teams to identify opportunities, translate business needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions, and accelerate deployment of AI capabilities while ensuring alignment with governance, risk, and compliance requirements.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in variety of complex functions within the digital environment

  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to the execution of the digital strategy

  • Review and analyze complex content strategy/creation, customer experience, analytics/research or product management that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Independently resolve complex issues

  • Lead team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of digital initiatives, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Potentially lead projects, teams or provide direction to junior staff on less complex digital initiatives


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering AI, automation, workflow, or digital products in a large enterprise environment.

  • Strong understanding of generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, AI governance, and workflow orchestration.

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to implement technology solutions and drive adoption.

  • Proven ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable product capabilities.

  • Experience partnering with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, workflow technologies, or AI-enabled business applications.

Job Expectations:

  • This position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship.

  • Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in the listed location (hybrid schedule – 3 days on-site & 2 remote)

  • The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
