About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who can bridge the gap between technology and business by working closely with clients to design, implement, and deploy customized software and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with excellent client-facing and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with clients to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Build integrations between enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Work alongside Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams to deliver solutions.
  • Develop proof of concepts (POCs), prototypes, and production-ready applications.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in customer environments.
  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Support client onboarding, adoption, and solution deployment activities.
  • Mentor customers and internal teams on best practices and product capabilities.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
  • Strong programming experience in Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience building and deploying enterprise applications
  • Expertise with REST APIs, Microservices, and System Integration
  • Strong SQL and database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of software architecture and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies

Qualifications

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 140,000 - 250,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
