Job Family:

What You Will Do:
• Support mission users in adopting and effectively leveraging modern data and analytics platforms.
• Operate within environments built on Databricks, Advana, and related cloud-native data platforms.
• Provide direct technical enablement to users, troubleshooting issues, guiding best practices, and ensuring mission teams can fully leverage deployed capabilities.
• Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to translate mission needs into platform usage patterns.
• Maintain awareness of evolving platform features and communicate updates to mission users.
• Ensure all activities comply with security, governance, and data protection requirements.

Specific Responsibilities:

Forward Deployed - Adoption Engineer:
• Engage directly with mission users to drive adoption of newly deployed technologies and analytic capabilities.
• Provide hands-on assistance, demonstrations, and workflow optimization guidance.
• Identify challenges faced by users and coordinate with engineering teams to drive enhancements.
• Deliver structured enablement content tailored to user needs.

Forward Deployed - Engineer:
• Provide live, hands-on training and onboarding sessions for mission users entering the platform environment.
• Develop training materials, instructional labs, job aids, and walkthroughs aligned to platform architecture.
• Lead recurring training events and maintain a structured onboarding path for new users.
• Evaluate training outcomes and adjust curriculum to ensure mission readiness.

What You Will Need:
• Active Secret clearance.
• Strong experience supporting data and analytics platforms that leverage Databricks.
• Ability to work on-site at a government facility in Washington, DC or Northern Virginia or remotely depending on project needs.
• Excellent communication skills working with end users and stakeholders in mission environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic data workflows, notebooks, cluster usage patterns, and user configuration issues.

What Would Be Nice To Have:
• Experience in government digital transformation or mission analytics environments.
• Familiarity with modern data engineering or BI workflows.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non technical users.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
