The work: Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end, production-grade data and AI solutions on Databricks platforms.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines, APIs, and user-facing applications using Spark and modern big-data engines.
- Design and build Databricks Apps, including both front-end and back-end components.
- Integrate LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into applications and data workflows.
- Deploy solutions to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitor production systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Debug complex issues across the full stack, including data pipelines, application services, cloud infrastructure, and AI integrations.
- Implement CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and secure, repeatable production deployments.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security through best practices and tools like Unity Catalog.
- Partner directly with customer stakeholders to define requirements, architect solutions, and provide hands-on technical guidance.
- Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and technical enablement materials for long-term maintainability.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment workflows
- Databricks Data Engineer Professional certification
- Ability to travel, dependent on client and team
Preferred experience:- Active Government Security clearance
- Experience with Databricks on both E2 and PVC
