Job DescriptionAbout the roleEvery deployment pairs builders with an architect of the problem itself. The AI Deployment Architect is the problem-finder and relationship owner: the person who makes sure we understand the client's business better than they expect - and that what we build becomes how they actually work. You are typically not a software engineer. You are a domain insider who understands how large organizations really behave, embedded with one client, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and data scientists.
What you'll do• Embed with client teams to find the highest-leverage problems - the recurring decisions where better data changes the outcome this quarter
• Map how work actually gets done: who decides, who blocks, which workflow has been quietly broken for years
• Translate business reality into requirements engineers can build against, and keep scope honest against the metric that matters
• Own adoption and change management on the ground - onboard users, remove friction, turn skeptics into references
• Act as the client bridge: run working sessions, manage expectations, and surface the next opportunity while the current one is live
QualificationsWhat we're looking for• 4+ years in roles close to how commercial organizations run - consulting, category or revenue growth management, insights, customer success, or solutions delivery
• Domain grounding in CPG, retail, or consumer/commercial data
• A track record of getting busy operators to change how they work
• A structured communicator who turns messy conversations into crisp requirements and decisions
• Comfortable in ambiguity, on client site, and in the room where decisions get made
Nice to have• Experience on forward-deployed or embedded teams, or in early-stage products finding product-market fit
• Familiarity with NIQ/GfK data or retail measuremen
