Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to lead our facility's food safety, and hygiene programs. This role ensures compliance with company, and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement in food integrity, quality, and overall practices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and passionate about maintaining the highest standards in food safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with Do & Co, industry, and regulatory food safety and product integrity standards.
  • Lead and manage facility audits, inspections, and consultations to ensure operational compliance.
  • Ensure all food safety documentation, logs, and regulatory paperwork are accurate and current.
  • Monitor integrated food safety and quality programs across all products manufactured, distributed, or sold.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and audits to maintain quality and food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with department managers to implement new products and practices effectively.
  • Investigate customer and internal complaints, ensuring corrective actions are documented and resolved.
  • Oversee sanitation standards, including pest control, chemical usage, and readiness for regulatory inspections.
  • Lead hygiene training programs, including new hire orientation, retraining, and ongoing staff development.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Hygiene, Quality Assurance experience preferably in a food manufacturing site
  • Deep knowledge in HACCP, ISO, SQF and food safety systems
  • Food Safety Certification, state specific if applicable
  • HACCP Certified
  • PCQI - (Preventative Control Qualified Individual)
  • Proactive and self-organized
  • Ability to manage through a substantial workload
  • Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
