Full Job Description
What You'll Do:

As a F&B Department Manager, you'll report directly to the Food & Beverage Director and play a hands-on role on the floor-especially during peak hours-to guide, motivate and support the team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily operations with a focus on service excellence and profitability
  • Developing and executing beverage menus
  • Managing P&L, budgeting, ordering, inventory, and staffing
  • Overseeing employee training, compliance, and development
  • Handling guest feedback with professionalism and care
  • Supporting private events and catering logistics
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff


What We're Looking For:

Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Manager (or similar management title) in a high-volume, upmarket restaurant
  • Proven ability to lead and train a service-focused team
  • Strong knowledge of ordering, inventory, and receiving systems
  • ServSafe Certification or valid California Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain it upon hire with company support
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification or the ability to obtain it upon hire with company support
  • Effective team player with the ability to resolve employee concerns confidentially
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace
  • Must have full open availability: days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L experience
