What You'll Do:
As a F&B Department Manager, you'll report directly to the Food & Beverage Director and play a hands-on role on the floor-especially during peak hours-to guide, motivate and support the team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading daily operations with a focus on service excellence and profitability
- Developing and executing beverage menus
- Managing P&L, budgeting, ordering, inventory, and staffing
- Overseeing employee training, compliance, and development
- Handling guest feedback with professionalism and care
- Supporting private events and catering logistics
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Manager (or similar management title) in a high-volume, upmarket restaurant
- Proven ability to lead and train a service-focused team
- Strong knowledge of ordering, inventory, and receiving systems
- ServSafe Certification or valid California Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain it upon hire with company support
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification or the ability to obtain it upon hire with company support
- Effective team player with the ability to resolve employee concerns confidentially
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace
- Must have full open availability: days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong financial acumen with P&L experience
