FMS Program ManagerProgram/Project Management Support, Journeyman AFMETCAL Program OfficeHeath, OHHX5 is currently seeking a Program Manager to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Air Force Metrology and Calibration division (AFLCMC/WNM) in Heath, Ohio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Using strong a knowledge of DoD systems acquisition, program management principles, and FMS/USAF procurement activities, independently perform all duties related to program management, including post-award tasks and life-cycle management
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, formulate strategic plans, develop and maintain acquisition reports, and conduct program status briefings
- Support program actions such as meeting coordination, milestone tracking, briefing preparation, and the development of risk management strategies, including preparing documentation for acquisition decision processes.
- Develop directorate-level portfolio metrics, support programmatic events, finalize correspondence, and manage data repositories
- Using proficiency in Microsoft applications and SharePoint management, support program operations and data analysis across various administrative domains, focusing on strategic communications.
- Perform financial review including producing funding documents and analysis.
Education and Experience:Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's in a related field and three (3) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three (3) years of which must be in the DoD
- OR seven (7) years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
- An understanding of metrology, measurement or calibration system is preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel.
