Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Physics with a focus in Fluid Dynamics; higher degrees preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience or related work.
• Proficient coding skills in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, VBA, and C/C#/C++.
• Familiar with version control software for project management.
• Solid grasp of chemical and mechanical engineering principles, with independent judgment capabilities.
• Adept at independently managing projects and conveying ideas clearly to team members.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical knowledge in semiconductor flow delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead gas flow and pressure testing projects, including transient flow tests.
• Develop and write test sequences for metrology systems.
• Utilize MATLAB for flow metrology and calibration data analysis.
• Create and enhance calibration algorithms for devices.
• Support Product Calibration Maps with flow metrology analysis.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to derive experimental correlations.
• Design and work with 1D flow networks and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Supervise team members during project execution and documentation tasks.
• Document processes to serve as a reference for colleagues.
• Investigate and provide feedback on laminar flow restrictors and valves.
• Utilize engineering principles in fluid mechanics and related fields for experimental design.
• Coordinate with other departments and keep engineering management informed.
• Contribute to the preparation of design controls documents and test plans.
