Float Physical Therapist (PT) Full-Time Outpatient Bluefiield, VA Region

As a Float Physical Therapist, you'll provide individualized, evidence-based care across multiple outpatient locations while working with diverse patient populations and clinical teams. You'll treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, balance and vestibular disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, and mobility impairments. This position provides the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience, build relationships in multiple communities, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes throughout the region.

Your Role:
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
  • Treat a variety of orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions.
  • Provide exceptional patient care across multiple outpatient clinic locations throughout the Bluefield region.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Work within a manageable caseload environment, typically targeting approximately 10-12 patient visits per day for full-time outpatient clinicians.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between assigned clinic locations.
