Flightline Readiness Tech Inspector Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a
Flightline Readiness Tech Inspector Manager (Level K) to support the Field Quality team onsite in
Seattle, Washington.
This position requires a critical thinker with strong business acumen, who is passionate about coaching, and eager to drive cultural change within the organization. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10+ people.
Position Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of employees responsible for evaluating and ensuring that products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations
- Develop and implement effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
- Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
- Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and safety
- Acquire and manage resources efficiently, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to foster collaboration and success
- Inspire, develop, and motivate employees, cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
- 3+ years of experience in a production/factory environment
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and / or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and / or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- 3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-functional teams within a Quality Management environment
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or an FAA Repairman's Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree or higher

Shift:This role is primarily 2nd shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary Pay Range: $119,850 - $162,150
