Standard Job DescriptionWhat does this role look like?
- Lead structural dynamics analyses that shape the performance and survivability of missile and spacecraft flight hardware, from early concept through flight.
- Develop, refine, and own high-fidelity dynamic models using both in-house and industry-standard tools to simulate mechanical loads, deployment mechanisms, and complex separation events.
- Drive loads development at both the component and system level, translating real-world environments into actionable design criteria and validated engineering solutions.
- Plan and execute dynamic and static test campaigns-including separation events-then synthesize results into clear, data-driven insights that influence design decisions.
- Partner across a multidisciplinary engineering team to perform design trades, guide architecture decisions, and ensure structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and support dynamic test requirements, oversee test execution, and lead data reduction and correlation efforts to ensure alignment between analysis and test.
- Communicate complex technical findings with clarity and confidence, delivering high-quality documentation and presenting to internal teams, customers, and program leadership at key design reviews and technical forums.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of spacecraft structural dynamics, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission success
