FLEX is a temporary full-time position with an initial assignment of one year and the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

This is a remote position, and open to any location and time zone in the United States.

JOB SUMMARY

Talent Acquisition at Marriott is positioned to fuel company performance by identifying, attracting, and hiring world-class talent. It is an integral function that directly impacts and supports business performance and drives the organization's priorities around growing great leaders, investing in associates, and providing access to opportunity.

We're looking for a Talent Sourcing Manager to join our team and support our Talent Acquisition function. This role combines hands-on sourcing execution with team leadership responsibilities. The Talent Sourcing Manager will spend approximately 50% of their time executing full-cycle sourcing activities and 50% leading a team of Talent Sourcing Specialists while developing and advancing sourcing strategies that support enterprise hiring priorities. In the individual contributor capacity, the Talent Sourcing Manager will be responsible for understanding the ongoing hiring needs of the business, conducting proactive candidate searches and talent pipelining, and partnering closely with Recruiters to ensure best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experiences.

In the leadership capacity, the Talent Sourcing Manager will oversee a team of Talent Sourcing Specialists, providing coaching, guidance, workload management, and performance support while driving consistency, operational excellence, and sourcing effectiveness across the team. This role will also be responsible for proactive and reactive sourcing strategies along with technology adoption and refinement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of professional experience in lieu of degree
  • 7+ years of HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition experience, including at least 3 years of direct sourcing experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or supervising talent acquisition, recruiting, or sourcing professionals
  • Prior sourcing and recruiting experience within a search firm or in-house talent acquisition team
  • Demonstrated success building talent pipelines and delivering sourcing results across multiple business functions
  • Experience leveraging sourcing automation, CRM platforms, talent intelligence tools, and AI-enabled recruiting technologiesProficiency using sourcing channels, tools, and platforms to identify and engage potential candidates
  • Hospitality, retail, customer service, or high-volume recruitment experience

Leading a Team
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Sourcing Specialists to achieve sourcing goals and service-level expectations
  • Drive team performance through regular coaching, development conversations, and team engagement

  • Provide guidance on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement techniques, and market intelligence
  • Ensure consistent execution of sourcing processes, standards, and best practices across the team

  • Analyze sourcing metrics and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, candidate quality, and pipeline health
  • Support onboarding and training of new sourcing team members

  • Share labor market insights, competitive intelligence, and sourcing trends with Recruiters and Talent Acquisition leaders

  • Execute sourcing strategies that build high-quality talent pipelines and support hiring demand
  • Engage passive and active candidates through networking, referrals, talent communities, and direct outreach
  • Conduct talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence to inform sourcing strategies
  • Screen candidates and present qualified talent to Recruiters for consideration
