Full Job Description
A Day in the Life:

In the position of Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Monster Energy's private vehicle fleet including cars, vans, SUVs, and event marketing vehicles used by the marketing and sampling teams across the US and Canada. Manage all associated compliance, billing, vendor, and safety obligations. Act as company intermediary with external fleet vendors.
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Perform annual vehicle fleet review for optimal fleet performance and efficiency. Responsible for all fleet lease or purchase decisions in partnership with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Sales team to understand fleet requirements.
  • Manage rental car programs and billing through external vendors like Enterprise, National, and Penske. Work directly with vendors to ensure each vehicle is maintained based upon the maintenance program. Obtain direct rental report from Finance used to reconcile AMEX bill in Concur. Perform rental car toll billing reconciliation and communicate with staff regarding rental questions/information.
  • Coordinate inspection of and evaluate automobiles and equipment and schedule needed repair or service work. Obtain vehicle and equipment replacement costs and prepare specifications for purchase of new vehicles and equipment. Receive and review all threshold maintenance on vehicles through Auto Integrate. Email routine maintenance reminders for oil changes, transmission, and other services and log maintenance expenses.
  • Establish and maintain vehicle database to accurately reflect fleet status. Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress. Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.
  • Update and maintenance of employee database for vehicle and rental car purposes. Works in partnership with Human Resources (HR) department to ensure Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) records are recorded accurately
    within the employee file.
  • Maintain accurate documents for monthly billing for systems in US and Canada including bill preparations and
    approvals. Compile all billing information and reports from WEX and assure accuracy of spreadsheet data to billing data.
  • Responsible for quarterly reporting of fuel purchases for budgeting and reporting of International Fuel Tax Agreement for event marketing fleet.
  • Oversee accident reporting and tracking of fleet vehicles, forward compiled information and claims to Monster Energy insurance, and communicate repair status and completions to staff. Oversee vehicles are within compliance by reviewing vehicle license and registration, which is handled by Enterprise.
  • Responsible for annual driver and fleet review for insurance renewal. Manages daily team issues regarding daily
    fleet operations. Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations.
  • Manage the Teletrac GPS and camera system management.
Who You Are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or related field
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in leadership role
  • Computer Skills Desired: Advanced skill with MS Office suite, especially Excel and ideally Access and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP.
