In this role, you'll work directly with Directors of Operations and Fleet Managers to keep equipment reliable, costs controlled and service disruptions to a minimum.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who brings both operational discipline and sound judgment to the work. You'll develop and manage a maintenance plan for your assigned fleet, hold vendors accountable to clear performance standards and step in to lead resolution when issues get complex - all while keeping stakeholders informed with data-backed updates and recommendations.

How You'll Work

  • Location: La Mirada, CA (16400 Knott Ave, La Mirada, CA 90638)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
  • Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the salary range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $73,220 - $95,215 per year. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills and location.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental and vision coverage; prescription drug and telemedicine services; company-paid life and disability insurance; retirement savings with company match; paid time off, holidays and parental leave; plus additional voluntary benefits and employee discounts

What You'll Do

  • Align with Directors of Operations and Fleet Managers to coordinate maintenance scheduling and keep assigned fleet reliable
  • Develop and implement a maintenance plan that drives consistent adherence to preventative maintenance standards
  • Evaluate fleet performance data and provide recommendations that inform asset replacement and capital investment decisions
  • Monitor maintenance spend, identify cost reduction opportunities and implement improvements across assigned scope
  • Establish vendor performance standards, negotiate agreements and review repair estimates to ensure service and cost expectations are met
  • Resolve non-routine maintenance issues independently and lead escalation of complex or customer-critical situations to senior leadership
  • Communicate maintenance performance, downtime updates and operational insights to Directors, Fleet Managers and other internal stakeholders

What Great Looks Like

  • Fleet assets are reliable, compliant and operating within cost targets
  • Vendors are held to clear performance standards and repair costs are actively managed
  • Maintenance plans are in place, followed and continuously improved
  • Stakeholders have the information they need - before they have to ask
  • Complex issues are resolved quickly and escalated appropriately when they're not

What You Bring

  • Experience overseeing fleet maintenance operations or vendor repair programs
  • Working knowledge of preventative maintenance standards and DOT compliance
  • Experience managing vendor performance and repair cost review
  • Ability to independently resolve maintenance issues within assigned scope
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to review and interpret maintenance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support capital and operational decisions
  • Experience using fleet maintenance or asset management systems
  • A four-year degree
